It's 2016. Who still uses QR codes?

Love love love the book but why not just keep an updated database online of everything in the book, complete with comments from readers, latest prices, newer versions, etc?  Hate hate hate the QR codes.

Why why why the hate? QR codes work, at least, even though they’ve never been embraced by all. Of all the things we need to ignore, at least you know what these are without having to waste time to understand what they are. Easier to tune out than Fox Frickin’ News, for example.
