LaBelle Oil Micro-Applicator

Pinpoint lubrication

For all the times I’ve wanted to get a lubricant into something tiny, some small joint on a tool or device, I always just grabbed a can of WD40 — encouraged by its little tube — and proceeded to make a frigging mess with the vigorous backspray that almost always happened, no matter how careful I was.

The business end of this LaBelle applicator $10 is essentially a non-pointy hypodermic needle. Completely easy to get exactly what’s needed exactly where it’s needed. The WD40 “No-Mess Pen” magic-marker-style thing is pretty good too, but I don’t think that applicator is manufactured anymore. (And I’m pointedly avoiding the “WD40’s not a lubricant” argument.) I hope someone is willing to explain the advantages of the different lubricant formulations available from LaBelle…
