Using a Laser Cutter to Make a Tabletop Arcade Player
Quickly and precisely cut wood, acrylic, and leather
I’m writing a book on using the Raspberry Pi single board computer to play retro video games. I told my friend Dan Shapiro, CEO of Glowforge about the book, and he’s letting me borrow a Glowforge Laser Cutter to make cabinets and consoles. I’m blown away by how great it is to be able to precisely cut wood into intricate shapes with ease. Glowforge sponsored a video I made showing the process of making a tabletop arcade game player, which I posted above.
