Most people I know with gas stoves have this problem; you end up with those ugly plastic stick lighters hanging around the stove. They come in multi-packs because they only last a few months before you have to throw the whole plastic contraption away. <\/p>\n<p>I wanted something both more beautiful and more durable. I tried a zippo, but the flame goes out when you tip it sideways and it doesn&#8217;t give you enough distance from the flame. <\/p>\n<p>Then I discovered piezo electric lighters. No batteries or lighter fluid required. <\/p>\n<p>I chose this model because the grip looked superior to the other piezo lighters on Amazon. It is good looking and sturdy in the hand.
