When it comes to cleaning, a spray of water is far superior to toilet paper.

I always wanted to install a Japanese high tech toilet in my house, but they are pricey. Earlier this year I learned that Amazon sells cold water toilet bidets for a fraction of the price. That was cheap enough for me to try. It came in a box with some plastic tubing and an adapter valve that screws onto the threaded nozzle at the bottom of the fill valve. It took about 15 minutes to install.

It does the job very well. You can adjust the angle of attack with a lever. You can vary the water pressure with a dial. I use low pressure. If the dial were turned all the way up, I imagine it would flay skin.

The downside is that the water is cold. I am used to it. I bought a second one for our other bathroom. This time it took five minutes to install.

[18
