Enter a search term and you’ll be presented with a grid display of work by dozens or hundreds of contemporary designers. You can save your favorite images to any number of “buckets” for later perusal. — MF

Flossing better:
The civilized way to floss is to use a long-handled floss bow so you don’t keep putting your fingers deep into your mouth. I’ve been using Reach Access Flosser for many years, now rebranded as Listerine Ultraclean Reach. Rinse after use, and replace the cheap tiny bow as needed. — KK

Big bag of cashews:
I snack on nuts all day long. A couple of months ago I discovered Happy Belly nuts on Amazon. The price is good (a 40-ounce bag of cashews costs $19) and the nuts are fresh and tasty. — MF

Outsourcing:
I’m productive because I outsource my detail work to global freelancers. If I can specify a job, it can be assigned to one of a million expert freelancers working somewhere in the world. Often for cheap, always fast, and securely. I use Upwork (which used to be called Elance and oDesk). It’s a reliable system. I can find programmers, web and graphic designers, artists, photoshop experts, transcribers, marketing mavens, and so on. Their work is a good as anyone you might hire. — KK

Offline travel guides:
Guides by Lonely Planet was so helpful on my recent trip through Central Europe. I had no cell service, but through the app I was able to download offline maps and navigate to points of interests (bars, shops, sights) while learning more about the cities I visited. Also invaluable, was the currency converter, tipping etiquette and local phrasebook. I plan on using the San Francisco guide, even though I live in the city, to keep my vacation spirit alive. — CD

Google search tip:
To find websites similar to your favorites, go to google.com and search for related:somesite.com. Example: here are search results for websites similar to Lonely Planet Guides. — CD

Get the Recomendo weekly newsletter a week early by email.

[2323
2324
