For years I have been looking for a way to convert my script into text that I can load into Word. My astute brother-in-law sent me a RocketbookEverlast Notebook ($30) and the closer I looked into it I realized that this may be the tool I have been looking for.

The idea is whatever is on the page can be scanned with an app and stored or sent where you choose. With the app loaded I can write a commentary, scan it, attach it to an email, then email it to myself. Somehow along the way Rocketbook transcribe the pages into text. It happens quickly. Once I receive the email, I copy and paste the text into a Word document. The clearer I write the better the transcription. It does not take long to realize what works and what doesn’t.

The kit includes a Pilot Frixion erasable pen and a cloth, which moistened will wipe the pages clean so they can be used again. The app is capable of attaching the text and/or graphics to other places other than email but I have not explored that yet. It is not flawless but it is the best I have found yet.

[31
