But I decided that, for the present, I would create the best way I know how and accept the ambiguities.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><strong>Establish an atmosphere that encourages growth<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cThere\u2019s a world of difference between insisting on someone\u2019s doing something and establishing an atmosphere in which that person can grow into wanting to do it.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><strong>Forgive yourself: even Mister Rogers wasn&#8217;t perfect<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cMutually caring relationships require kindness and patience, tolerance, optimism, joy in the other\u2019s achievements, confidence in oneself, and the ability to give without undue thought of gain.
