It took me a good 40 years to find a solid, un-jammable, ever-sharp, self-opening knife that I will replace with the exact same model if I ever lose or destroy it. I *love* this tool. It is also illegal to possess in certain states. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/files\/2021\/09\/paperapp-ipad-e1631813629476.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/files\/2021\/09\/paperapp-ipad-e1631813629476.jpeg\" alt=\"paperapp-ipad\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39070\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wetransfer.com\/paper\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paper app by WeTransfer<\/a> (on iPad with Pencil)<\/strong><br \/>\nI use this app constantly for sketching, designing, doodling and free-associating, and I love that it allows you to add photos as layers, and cut-paste between sketches. Some of my best ideas and nearly all of my worst have come out of this app.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/files\/2021\/09\/thermarest-e1631813652769.jpg\" alt=\"thermarest\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39068\" \/><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermarest.com\/sleeping-pads\/camp-and-comfort\/basecamp-sleeping-pad\/basecamp.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ThermaRest BaseCamp inflatable camping mattress<\/a> ($80 &#8211; $130)<\/strong><br \/>\nLightweight, adjustable, and bombproof. My current one is almost 20 years old &#8211; I only punctured it once (on a nail sticking out of the bar floor I was sleeping on during a BarCampLA event), and I easily repaired it with a ThermaRest patch kit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/files\/2021\/09\/dewalt-power-tool-combo-kits-dck299p2-64_1000-e1631813669457.jpg\" alt=\"dewalt-power-tool-combo-kits-dck299p2-64_1000\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39067\" \/><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/p\/DEWALT-20-Volt-MAX-XR-Cordless-Brushless-Drill-Impact-Combo-Kit-with-Two-20-Volt-2-0Ah-Batteries-and-Charger-2-Tool-DCK283D2\/206524075\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DeWalt Atomic Brushless Cordless Drill \/ Impact Driver combo<\/a> ($219) <\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve used this to build and install everything from caj\u00f3ns and marimbulas to the road case for my 1902 Deagan marimba to the bookshelves and workbenches in my studio. I used it just last week to strip all the old paint off the steps at our house in Seattle. I built <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xylovan.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">XyloVan<\/a> with this thing.
